Mark Wainwright Appointed Project CEO for Fengmiao II in Taiwan

Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP), a global leader in offshore wind development, construction, and operations, announced that Mark Wainwright has been appointed Project CEO for the 600 MW Fengmiao II offshore wind project in Taiwan. In this role, Wainwright will lead the project team in collaboration with partners and stakeholders to advance development and deliver the project safely and sustainably.  

“Fengmiao II is our fourth offshore wind project in Taiwan, and I am honoured to join and lead the team at this important stage,” said Mark. “As demand for renewable energy continues to grow, offshore wind is playing an increasingly important role in supporting Taiwan’s industrial sustainability and net-zero ambitions. With more than eight years of experience in Taiwan’s offshore wind sector, including his ongoing role as CEO for the 495 MW Fengmiao I project currently under construction, Wainwright brings deep knowledge of the local policy landscape, market dynamics, and supply chain ecosystem. He previously led the Zhong Neng Offshore Wind Farm as EPC Director from development into commercial operation. 

Taiwan remains a key market for COP, with offshore wind playing a central role in the country’s energy transition and long-term decarbonisation goals. Together, Fengmiao I and II represent a significant addition to offshore wind capacity in Taiwan.
