COP hires VP Morten Hesselager Pedersen to lead EPC activities within VindØ
Copenhagen Offshore Partners are happy to announce the hire of Morten Hesselager Pedersen as new EPC Project Director for the realization of the Danish Energy Island. Morten will be leading the EPC activities within VindØ, a consortium consisting of CIP, PensionDenmark, PFA and Andel and with Nykredit as partner. Morten Hesselager Pedersen is leaving the prestigious Tyra-project, for TotalEnergies, in the North Sea, to join COP and to assume the responsibility for construction work in connection to VindØ’s bid on the new Energy Island in the North Sea.
The Energy Island is an artificial island in the North Sea, 100 kilometers west of the coast of Jutland. This will be the biggest construction in Danish history and will deliver up to 10GW of wind.
