Copenhagen Offshore Partners leads offshore wind project origination, development and construction in new and established markets around the world. Founded in 2015, we are an exclusive global offshore wind development partner to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners.
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT MOMENTUM
Since our founding nearly a decade ago, our team has grown exponentially, from Asia Pacific to Europe and the Americas. We continue to move first into new offshore wind markets and we are leading the advancement of innovative offshore wind technologies. This momentum translates into market-leading projects such as the Changfang & Xidao projects which will power approximately 650,000 Taiwanese households and the Vineyard Wind 1 project which will be the first commercial scale offshore wind farm in the United States. Furthermore, more than one third of our development portfolio is focused on the advancement and commercialization of floating offshore wind projects, such as through our Pentland Floating Offshore Wind Farm which will become the world’s largest floating offshore wind farm.
Beyond offshore wind, we are building out PtX and other system integration capabilities that are accelerating the energy transition to create a better future for us all. COP is committed to protecting the environment and our people by putting health, safety and wellbeing at the forefront of our activities.
